MSK Awards 2020: EABL scoops the overall award [Full List of Winners]
This year’s Marketing Society of Kenya, MSK Awards Gala dinner was held on Friday 4th December 2020 at the Sarit Centre – Nairobi. The awards are a recognition of excellence in the Kenyan marketing sphere and aim to celebrate companies and individuals that have excelled in various departments in the sector each year. Themed ‘Seeing through the Mask’, the 2020 awards were inspired by the need to bring together the perfect strategies and marketing professionals to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event which was emceed by Citizen TV’ Yvonne Okwara, was attended by corporate executives in the marketing departments from companies such as Safaricom, EABL, Unilever, RMS, and SBM Bank among others. EABL whose profits declined by 39 percent this year, was named the overall MSK Awards 2020 winner.
EABL Marketing & Innovations Director Graham Villiers-Tuthill, the event’s keynote speaker urged marketers to become general managers of their brands by continuously innovating and creating solutions that impact society in a sustainable manner.
“As marketers, we must be the drivers of change in our organizations. To do that, we must understand not only the current operating environment but what the future holds,” said Graham Villiers-Tuthill
