Guinness Hop House 13 introduces a culinary experience dubbed Flavor by Fire

Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) through Guinness variant Hop House 13 has introduced a new barbecue experience ‘Flavor by Fire’. Flavor by Fire concept will usher in a new culture of Hop House 13 paired with food, casual dining with friends, and celebrating local Chefs.

Speaking at a media and influencers launch in Nairobi, EABL Head of Marketing Beer, Anne Joy Michiru said, “There’s something very special about cooking food over a fire. It brings people together in a way you don’t get using other cooking methods. Hop House 13 has a similar effect – it’s the perfect way to celebrate getting together with friends and family for some quality time.”

She added, “The fact that Guinness pairs so perfectly with roasted and barbequed dishes, and that we use fire to give Guinness brands flavor and unique taste. – Flavour by Fire celebrates our flavorful beer, Hop House 13, and the unique way it blends well with food, specifically grilled food. 

To drive awareness and reach of the experience, Hop House 13 will be working with barbecue enthusiasts George Grill King,  celebrated Chef Rubia, and Chef Stephanie. They will unique experiences through Hop House 13 inspired recipes, demonstrating to consumers how to prepare the food and pair it with your favorite drink.

Boasting of bold and distinctive flavor makes Hop House 13 an obvious choice when pairing with foods that are rich in flavor, aroma, appearance, and mouthfeel.

KBL’s Commercial Director Joel Kamau, said that “We will have Hop House 13 Flavour by Fire experiences in selected outlets across the country. Kenya was the first market in Africa to launch Hop House in 2019 and we believe through this flavorful experience, we will be able to drive appetite appeal  for Hop House that makes it an obvious choice when you think of a good time with friends over a sumptuous meal..”

Hop House 13 is a flavorful lager from the house of Guinness. Made to be enjoyed with friends. Crafted in Ireland, and now brewed locally in Kenya, it is double hopped for more taste. It is a distinctive full-flavored lager bursting with zingy hoppiness and balanced with a malty finish.
